David initially joined Funding Neuro as a Trustee in 2016 and took over as CEO in 2021. David is a Chartered Accountant who spent most of his career in Corporate Banking in the UK and Europe where he led many corporate social responsibility projects.  Having been a trustee before taking up this post he sees the role as an evolution of what has gone before with same focus on patients, getting treatments into use and hopefully making fundraising fun for all those who so generously give up their time.

David is married with 3 grown up children and enjoys music, cycling and film.
