David Little met Bryn at an event Bryn was speaking at in Carlisle, in May.
David was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2005, aged 40. Like Bryn, David believes that running is an important factor when battling Parkinson’s! Last year he completed his TWELFTH marathon, in Edinburgh, and this year he is taking on not only the X-Border 10K on 21st July, but also the Great Cumbrian Run on 6th October, and a few other 10Ks as well!!
The fantastic four completed the X-Border challenge in one piece! Unfortunately David has suffered an injury – he has pulled the inter-costal muscles in his right side…clearly he must have been laughing too hard, lesson learned there!
Our most grateful thanks to David, his daughter, his brother-in-law, and his daughter’s boyfriend, all of whom he has managed to recruit to the cause! They are running these events in the Wobbly running tops, spreading the word and raising as much as they possibly can.
