The first event on the horizon for our Try Athletes, is the Great Scottish Run, which takes places in Glasgow.

Join 20,000+ runners, walkers and joggers (including Bryn and Maisie) on this fantastic route around Glasgow. Starting at George Square, you will pass iconic Glasgow sites such as the Riverside Museum and Tall Ship.

With a choice of 10K or 1/2 marathon route and a great course to look forward to, there is no excuse to miss out this year…and just enough time to get some training in! We are not looking to break any records with the running, we simply want to have as many people taking part as possible, and wearing our tops to promote Funding Neuro! We are actively encouraging potential participants to walk, jog or run, just get involved!

However, perhaps running is not for you??

If so, you might be willing to give up a few hours of your life to help out in the Funding Neuro cheering station positioned near the Daily Record building on Lancefield Quay? At this location you will simply be asked to cheer, shout, clap, wave and generally encourage all runners, plus there will be some sweeties to hand out on the route!
